ABOUT THE COMMITTEE

MISSION:
The Welcoming Committee's mission is to provide a warm welcome to the newest members of Hidden Lakes as well as make available the essential information needed in order to make their transition into the community go as smoothly as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure new residents are visited by a Village Greeter within 1-3 weeks of moving in, providing them with the annual directory and a bottle of wine.

Follow up with new residents via phone and survey after they have been formally greeted.

Maintain the committee’s inventory of wine.

Recruit new members to participate as Village Greeters.

Maintain listings of closings from Premier as well as a log documenting deliveries.

Ensure families with newborn babies receive a new baby basket (while supplies last).
