| A huge turnout for this election is encouraged to clearly express that Hidden Lakes is interested in our City and Schools. Previous turnout of HL voters has been very low and as a result our impact has been limited, even in the face of large attendance at City Council for specific issues. We need to demonstrate our concern where it counts at the ballot box. A consistently large turnout in elections will result in more impact at Town Hall and with KISD. Often turn out is low because of lack of information about the candidates. To help inform Hidden Lakes residents, the following information is provided. Please read carefully and vote early the lines are shorter. Times of early voting are on the City of Keller website. We consolidated questions from residents and submitted to the two Mayoral candidates and the contested City Council position. In addition, we are providing links to the League of Women Voters’ website on City and KISD candidates, and links to candidate websites:
Note: Mitch Holmes, Incumbent City Council member, is running unopposed. Also there have been questions about the QuikTrip voting record. Please also review Question 6 of the Candidate Responses above to be fully informed. |
